ব্যস্ত আমি বেল দিতে দিতে স্কুলে স্কুলে ঘোরায়,
আড়চোখেতে মুগ্ধ হওয়া হলুদ শাড়ির পশরায়,
একটা দিনের স্বাধীনতা চুটিয়ে আড্ডা মারা-
পাত্তা পাওয়া হালকা হাসি হৃদয় পাগলপারা।
হাসি ঠাট্টা, ঘোরার ভিড়ে একটু আড়াল খোঁজা,
দু হাত ভরে লুটে নেওয়া ধোঁয়া ওড়ানোর মজা।
এখন আমি বাইক আরোহী সাইকেল গেছি ভুলে,
দুটো একটা পাক ধরেছে ঘন কালো চুলে।
এখন আমি ব্যস্ত মানুষ, ঘোরতর সংসারী-
এখন আমি সেটাই করি, যেটুকু দরকারি।
বসন্ত পঞ্চমীর দিনে নতুন প্রাণের মাঝে-
আকুল হয়ে দু চোখ সেই কৈশোরটাই খোঁজে,
বকুল পলাশ পিয়াল পারুল গন্ধে মনে পড়ে,
আস্তে আস্তে বুড়ো আমি হচ্ছি ধীরে ধীরে।।
